Roughrider Announces Increase of Private Placement Financing to $1.8 Million

July 17, 2020 TSX.V: REL

Vancouver, BC -- Roughrider Exploration Limited (TSX -V: REL) ("Roughrider" or the “ Company”) is pleased to announce

that due to strong investor demand, it has increased its previously announced non- brokered private placement (the

“Offering”) (see news release dated July 14, 2020) from 5,000,000 units of the Company at a price of $0.20 per unit (the

“Units”) for gross proceeds of $1,000,000 to up to 9,000 ,000 Units for gross proceeds of $1, 800,000, Each Unit will consist

of one common share of the Company and one -half of one common share purchase warrant with each whole warrant

entitling the holder to acquire an additional common share of the Company at an exercise price of $0.30 per share with an

expiry date of 24 months from completion of the Offering. There is an accelerator provision which is the same as

announced on July 14, 2020.

The Company may pay finders fees in accordance with the rules and policies of the TSX Venture Exchange (the “Exchange”).

The Offering remains subject to the approval of the Exchange. All securities issued in the Offering will be subject to a

statutory hold period of four months and a day from the Closing Date of the Offering.

The proceeds raised by the Company pursuant to the Offering will be used for working capital purposes and for exploration

work on the Company's mineral properties.

100% owned Eldorado, Gin and Bonanza properties located in the Golden Triangle of Northern B.C. which are adjacent to
