8QY) ("Comet Lithium" or the "Company") announces the appointment of Mr. Vincent Metcalfe as
President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, in replacement of Mr. Mansoor Jan Niazi who
had been acting as Interim CEO and President since
September 2023
, effective
January 1, 2024
.
Mr.
Metcalfe
is a director of the Company and the current Executive Chairman of the Board of
Directors. He has extensive domestic and international experience in the metals and mining sector
and co-founded and led Nomad Royalty Company Ltd. ("Nomad Royalty") as the CEO and Chair
until it was acquired by Sandstorm Gold Ltd. in 2022. He also held a number of officer and senior
executive roles at TSX and NYSE-listed resource companies within the Osisko group of companies
prior to his involvement with Nomad Royalty.
