CASCADERO COPPER CORPORATION ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF

JAMES M. DAWSON P.Eng. TO ITS ADVISORY BOARD

The Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of James M. Dawson, P.Eng. to its

Advisory Board.

Jim Dawson ser ves as President of Dawson Geological Consult ants Ltd. He has been a

Consulting Geologist for over forty-five years and has been a Director of Public Companies in

the Mineral Resource Industry for almost t hirty years. As a partner with Kerr, Dawson &

Associates from 1972 to 1985, he participated in the discovery of the Blackdome Mine,

Frasergold and Taurus Properties in British Columbia and the Big Horn Mine in Arizona. He was

a Director of Minefinders Corp for 16 years until it was sold to Pan American Sil ver for $1.5

billion, a Member of Technical Advisory Board of Kaminak Gold and a Director of Wealth

Minerals Ltd. He was part of the original Pan Ocean team which made the discovery of the Lac

Cinquante uranium-molybdenum deposit in 1975. Jim Graduated fro m Memorial University with

a B.Sc. in 1960 and an M.Sc. in 1963.

Cascadero is looking forward to working and collaborating with Jim to develop certain

assets and ideas to create employment and commodities to enable the growth of the

mining industry and the creation of new mining ventures in north western Argentina.
