BTU CORPORATE UPDATE

December 5, 2016, Vancouver, BC, Canada – BTU CAPITAL CORP. (“BTU” or the “Company”)

(BTU.H-TSX:V) provides the following corporate update.

The Company announces it has cancelled the previously announced Qualifying Transaction (see PR

dated August 22, 2013) and is now in the process of reactivating its listing and is seeking a new QT.

BTU would like to welcome Twila Jensen to the board, who will act as an independent director for the

company. Ms. Jensen has over 15 years of experience working in the capital markets and has extensive

experience in marketing. Ms. Jensen has worked with hundreds of public companies in various sectors,

and her passion lies in sales and marketing with a focus on strategy.

Jianxing Qian has resigned from the Company. The Company wishes him well in his future endeavors.
