& PROVIDES CORPORATE UPDATE

February 16, 2017, Vancouver, BC - BTU CAPITAL CORP. ("BTU" or the "Company") (BTU.H -

TSXV) is pleased to announced that it has received revocation orders with respect to the cease

trade orders issued by the British Col umbia and Alberta Securities Commissions in August and

December 2014, respectively.

BTU has now filed all outstanding annual audited and interim unaudited financial statements

and related MD&A and certifications in British Columbia and Alberta. The finan cial disclosure,

along with all of BTU's continuous disclosure documents, may be found on SEDAR online at

www.sedar.com.

BTU remains a capital pool company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. As such, it intends

to continue identifying and evaluating pot ential business or assets for acquisition, as a
