BARKSDALE APPOINTS PETER MCRAE AND GLENN KUMOI AS DIRECTORS

October 16, 2017 – Vancouver, B.C. – Barksdale Capital C orp. (TSX-V: BRO) (“Barksdale” or the

“Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter McRae and Glenn K umoi as directors

of the Company.

Mr. McRae is Senior Vice President, Corporat e Affairs of Americas Silver Corp. and brings over 15

years of robust corporate and commercial experience to Barksdale. H e was an attorney at Weil,

Gotshal & Manges LLP, based in New York, in the firm's corporate department representing some of

the largest organizations and pri vate equity firms in the world. Mr. McRae is a member of the New

York and Ontario Bars and holds a certificate in Mining Law.

Mr. Kumoi, B.A, LL B., is VP General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Gold Standard Ventures

Corp. Mr. Kumoi is a lawyer and executive leader who has extensive experience in the areas of

financing, project development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and legal compliance.

In the twenty years prior to joining Barksdale Capital, he was the VP General Counsel & Corpo rate

Secretary of three other public companies. During that time, he has been a key part of executive teams

who have raised over $700m.

The Company further announces that effective October 11, 2017 Mark McCartney resign ed as a

director of the Company to focus on new business opportunities. Richard Silas commented: “We
