UNITY ENERGY CORP. PROPOSES NAME CHANGE

Vancouver, Canada – December 6, 2018 – Unity Energy Corp. (“ Unity” or the “ Company”) (TSX -V:

UTY) is pleased to announce that it has initiated the process to change its name from Unity Energy Corp.

to Unity Metals Corp. The Company’s stock symbol will remain unchanged as “UTY”. This name change

will not require Shareholder approval; however still rem ains subject to TSX Venture Exchange Approval.

The Company is seeking an effective date for the name change as December 27, 2018.
