Bedford Metals Receives Permit FOR Ground-Based Exploration Program at Sheppard Lake Uranium Project

Exploration Programs Permits & Approvals

NEWS RELEASE

BEDFORD METALS RECEIVES PERMIT FOR GROUND-BASED EXPLORATION PROGRAM

AT SHEPPARD LAKE URANIUM PROJECT

June 17TH, 2025—Bedford Metals Corp. (TSX-V: BFM, FWB: O8D, ISIN: CA0762301012) (the “Company” or

“Bedford”) is pleased to announce that it has received an exploration permit from the Saskatchewan

Ministry of Energy and Resources for comprehensive groundwork program at the Company’s wholly

owned Sheppard Lake Uranium Project. The program is set to begin in Summer 2025.

The fully funded exploration program will span the entire 13,092-hectare Sheppard Lake property and is

designed to refine existing diamond drill targets and identify new areas of interest. The Company’s

objective is to build upon previous survey results and advance the project toward a drill-ready stage.

A five-person exploration crew will be deployed to conduct a systematic assessment of key targets,

including TZ-1, TZ-2, and the Warr Lake Zone—locations previously identified as high-priority exploration

areas. In addition, the team will investigate new targets, including conductive anomalies uncovered in the

2025 MobileMT survey, as well as historic anomalies derived from earlier VTEM and radiometric datasets.

The groundwork program will include:

 Use of man-portable Shaw drills, capable of reaching depths up to 7 meters, to directly test

radioactive outcrops;

 Radiometric and ground magnetometer surveys to map surface and near-surface anomalies; and

 Strategic deployment of radon gas detection cups in key zones. As a primary decay product of

uranium, radon gas is a valuable indicator of subsurface uranium mineralization.

Given the scope of the Sheppard Lake project, exploration activities will be conducted in two distinct

phases, with the second phase incorporating helicopter support to access more remote areas of the

property.

Peter Born, President of Bedford , stated: "Securing the exploration permit is a major milestone as we

advance our work at Sheppard Lake. With a well-structured field program and multiple high-priority

targets, we are optimistic about uncovering meaningful uranium mineralization across the property. This

program represents a significant step forward in realizing the potential of our flagship asset."

Bedford is committed to responsible exploration practices and to working collaboratively with local

indigenous communities and other regional stakeholders. The Company values meaningful engagement

and aims to ensure that all exploration activities are carried out in a respectful and environmentally

responsible manner, honoring the traditional land use and cultural values of the region.

Further updates will be provided as additional interpretations are completed and preparations for future

fieldwork progress.
