NEWS RELEASE
BEDFORD METALS COMMENCES PHASE 1 PROSPECTING PROGRAM
AT SHEPPARD LAKE URANIUM PROJECT
August 5th, 2025—Bedford Metals Corp. (TSX-V: BFM, FWB: O8D, ISIN: CA0762301012) (the “ Company”
or “ Bedford”) is pleased to announce the commencement of its Phase 1 prospecting program at the
Sheppard Lake Uranium Project, located on the southern edge of Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.
The six-week program will focus on advancing Bedford’s understanding of the property through
systematic surface exploration. Field activities will include surface sampling, a detailed radiometric survey,
ground magnetics, and the deployment of radon gas cups. The field crew will be investigating multiple
high-priority targets, including VTEM anomalies, subsurface EM conductors, and historical radioactive
showings such as TZ-1, TZ-2, and the Warr Lake Zone. Remote parts of the property will be accessed using
helicopter support to ensure comprehensive coverage.
The objective of this program is to refine existing drill targets and identify additional high-priority areas to
be incorporated into the Company’s planned fall 2025 diamond drilling campaign.
Peter Born, President of Bedford, commented: “The launch of our Phase 1 prospecting program at
Sheppard Lake marks an important next step in systematically advancing this highly prospective project.
The combination of surface sampling, geophysical work, and radon surveys will provide valuable data that
will guide our upcoming drilling program later this year.”
Bedford remains committed to responsible and sustainable exploration. All activities are conducted in
accordance with environmental best practices and in close collaboration with local indigenous
communities and regional stakeholders. The Company values transparent communication and respectful
engagement with all parties affected by its operations.
Further updates will be provided as the prospecting program progresses and results are received.
