Bedford Encounters Zones of Anomalous Uranium at Sheppard Lake Uranium Project
Bedford Encounters Zones of Anomalous Uranium at Sheppard Lake Uranium Project
August 10, 2026—Bedford Metals Corp. (TSX-V: BFM, FWB: 08D, ISIN: CA0762301012) (the “Company”
or “Bedford”) is pleased to announce the results of its 2026 diamond drill program, completed in May
2026, at its wholly-owned Sheppard Lake Uranium Project, located on the southern margin of
Saskatchewan’s prolific Athabasca Basin. Highlights include:
SHP-26-05: Up to 1,447 CPS, 0.133% U3O8 (1190ppm U total digesƟon)
SHP-26-06 Up to 400 CPS, 0.049% U3O8 (419ppm U total digesƟon)
The spring 2026 DDH program consisted of 1,135.71m of diamond drilling. In total, 218 samples were
collected, including 104 drill core and 114 composite samples, and were delivered to the SRC GeoanalyƟcal
Laboratory in Saskatoon where they were analysed for mul Ɵ-element, U 3O8, and boron assay analyses.
Drill holes SHP-26-03 and SHP-26-04 targeted the TZ-2 conduc Ɵve anomaly, SHP-26-05 and SHP-26-06
targeted the TZ-1 conducƟve anomaly.
SHP-26-05 returned an interval of 0.133% U 3O8 over 0.6m from 21.4-22m (1190 ppm U total diges Ɵon),
with an adjacent interval of 0.04% U 3O8 from 20.9-21.4m. ScinƟllometer readings taken within the same
interval in SHP-26-05 returned values of up to 1447 CPS, in a pegmaƟte. Spectrometer readings returned
values of up to 121.1ppm U and 48.1ppm Th.
The figure above shows Uranium assay values in hole SHP-26-05, with associated scinƟllometer values.
Note that uranium assay spikes are directly associated with elevated CPS values.
SHP-26-06 hosts broad mineralizaƟon with a near conƟnuous run from 19.5 to 48m, with mul Ɵple 0.5 to
1.5m intervals between 0.014% and 0.049% U3O8, with the best being 0.049% U3O8 from 36-37m (419ppm
U total digesƟon). This same interval is present in the composite samples from 20-30m depth, averaging
0.02% U3O8 (190ppm U total digesƟon).
The figure above shows uranium assay values in hole SHP-26- 05, with associated scin Ɵllometer values.
Note that uranium assay spikes are directly associated with elevated CPS values.
Both SHP-26-05 and SHP-26-06 intersected mineralized intervals at roughly the same depth in each hole,
indicaƟng a laterally conƟnuous, shallow mineralized horizon.
Peter Born, President of Bedford, commented: “Both holes drilled into the TZ-1 anomaly returned uranium
mineralizaƟon at shallow depth, including 0.133% U3O8 over 0.6m in SHP-26-05 and a near- conƟnuous
mineralized run from 19.5 to 48m in SHP-26-06. With 1,135.71m of drilling completed and TZ-1 confirmed
as a mineralized target. These results are highly encouraging and reinforce our confidence in the property's
exploraƟon potenƟal, parƟcularly around the TZ -1 anomaly. Elevated U 3O8 values, strong CPS readings,
and proximity to key structural features near the Athabasca Basin boundary all point to a highly
prospecƟve system. We are eager to build on these findings as we advance exploraƟon at Sheppard Lake.”

Bedford Metals remains steadfast in its commitment to conduc Ɵng all explora Ɵon ac ƟviƟes in an
environmentally responsible manner and in close collabora Ɵon with local indigenous communiƟes and
other stakeholders. The Company places the highest priority on minimizing its environmental footprint
while fostering posiƟve and mutually respecƞul relaƟonships within the region.
All samples from exploraƟon programs are shipped to the Saskatchewan Research Council Geoanaly Ɵcal
Laboratories (SRC) in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in secure containment for prepara Ɵon, processing, and
mulƟ-element analysis by ICP-MS and ICP- OES using total (HF:NHO3:HClO4) and par Ɵal diges Ɵon
(HNO3:HCl), boron by fusion, and U3O8 wt% assay by ICP-OES using higher grade standards. The SRC is an
ISO/IEC 17025/2005 and Standards Council of Canada cer Ɵfied analy Ɵcal laboratory. The SRC is
independent of the Company. Blanks, standard reference materials, and repeats are inserted into the
sample stream at regular intervals by the SRC in accordance with Bedford’s quality assurance/quality
control (QA/QC) procedures.
