Benton Announces Results of Annual General and Special Meeting

of Shareholders and Appoints Stephen House VP Exploration

Thunder Bay ON, February 9, 2022, – Benton Resources Inc. (‘Benton’ or ‘the Company’) (TSX-

V: BEX) is pleased to announce that it successfully held its Annual General and Special Meeting of

Shareholders on February 9, 2022 (the “Meeting”). At the Meeting, the election of Stephen Stares, Michael

Stares, John Sullivan, Timothy Froude and Thomas Sarvas as directors of the Company was approved by

an overwhelming majority of shareholders who voted. All other matters presented to shareholders for

approval were successfully passed at the Meeting.

In addition, the Company is pleased to announce the appointmen t of Stephen House, P.Geo as the

Company’s VP Exploration effective immediately. Stephen received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from

Memorial University of Newfoundland at St. John’s in 1994 and is a registered Professional Geoscientist

(PEGNL). He has over 25 years of experience in gold and base metal exploration in Canada and the U.S.A.

with both junior and senior exploration companies. Pursuant to this appointment, the Company has granted

500,000 incentive stock options to Mr. House exercisable at $0.20 per share for a period of five years from

the date of grant. The options will vest in accordance with the provisions of the Company’s Stock Option

Plan.
