BELMONT WELCOMES IAN GRAHAM, B.Sc.(GEOLOGY) TO THE ADVISORY BOARD

Vancouver, B.C. Canada, May 17, 2018 – Belmont Resources Inc. (TSX.V: BEA; FSE: L3L1; DTC

Eligible – CUSIP 080499403); (“Belmont”, or the “Company”).

Belmont is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ian Graham to its Advisory Board.

Mr. Graham is an accomplished mining executive with over 20 years of international experience

exploring for and developing mineral deposits. He has spent over half of h is career working for

major mining companies, including roles at Rio Tinto and Anglo American. Mr. Graham

possesses industrial minerals experience and is well known for his successes within the diamond

sector.

From 1990-1994 Mr. Graham acted as Principal G eologist in exploration for Anglo American

and partner in De Beers Group’s South Africa division. In 1994, he joined Rio Tinto in Canada

as the evaluation manager for the Diavik diamond mine, then went on to become Chief Geologist

for diamonds with Rio Tin to’s Project Generation Group. During his 15 years at Rio Tinto, Ian

was involved with the evaluation and pre -development of several projects, including the Diavik

diamond mine in the Northwest Territories and the Resolution copper deposit in Arizona. Whil e

at Rio Tinto he also ov ersaw permitting for the Eagle Nickel mine in Michigan and played a key

role in developing the initial economic assessment for the Bunder Diamond Project in India.

Following his departure from Rio Tinto, Ian led the formation of a company with the intent of

acquiring the Jadar lithium project in Serbia from Rio Tinto, though Rio Tinto did not proceed

with the divestment. Mr. Graham also served as CEO from November 2015 - February 2017, for

United Energy Corp. (a Nevada lithium project).

Mr. Graham is a geologist with a B.Sc. in Geology and Applied Geology and a B.Sc. (Honors) in

Geology from the University of Natal in South Africa.

His experience of providing technical expertise and input will provide a significant contribution

to the Company at this stage of exploration and development.

Stock Options Granting:

The Company has granted incentive stock options to consultants and advisors an aggregate of

1,000,000 at $0.05 per share for a three year period.

Belmont has recently optioned 31 mineral claims encompassing approx. 7 sq.km; located 24 km northwest of Saint John, New

Brunswick – the Mid Corner/Johnson Croft – a Zinc, Cobalt prospect.

On March 30, 2016; the Company acquired sixteen placer (16) mining claims, representing 1036 hectares (2,560 acres) in

Esmeralda County, Nevada, U.S.A. The Kibby Basin property is located 65 km north of Clayton Valley, Nevada -U.S.A. The

Company believes the property to be highly prospective to host lithium. Subsequent ground geophysics & gravity surveys,

surface sampling and a two hole- 2046 ft. diamond drill program have confirmed the presence of lithium on Kibby.

On July 11, 2016; the Company reported it has arranged the staking of 213 x 20 acre additional placer mi neral claims totaling

approx. 1724 hectares ( 4,260 acres) , adjoining the Kibby 16, increasing the total Kibby Basin land position (the “Property”)

to 2,760 hectares (6,820 acres).

In 50/50 ownership with International Montoro Resources Inc., Belmont h as acquired and is exploring joint venture

opportunities for its two significant uranium properties (Crackingstone -982 ha & Orbit Lake – 11,109 ha) in the Uranium City

District in Northern Saskatchewan, Canada
