Dark Star Minerals Announces Changes to Directors and Grant of

Stock Options and Restricted Share Units

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, AUGUST 31 st, 2026: DARK STAR MINERALS INC. (CSE:

BATT; WKN: A429LR | FSE: P0W0) (the ”Company” or “Dark Star”) announces the appointment of

Cole Drezdoff as a director of the Company and the resignation of David Shisel as a director of the

Company, effective as of August 27, 2026. The Company also announces the appointment of David

Shisel to its advisory board.

Cole Drezdoff is a commercially focused marketing and business development professional with

experience in digital strategy, market research, in vestor engagement, and client growth initiatives. A

graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Ted Rogers School of Management with a Bachelor of

Commerce in Marketing Management, he has supported companies in strengthening brand visibility,

improving stakeholder communications, and driv ing business development. As a Management

Consultant with Lane-Link, Cole advised clients on branding, market positioning, and growth strategies,

including representing a client at ADIPEC, where he supported market entry efforts in the Middle East

and helped facilitate strategic engagement with ADNOC and Saudi Aramco. His experience spans digital

marketing, social media, lead generation, operations, client engagement, and financial communications,

giving him a practical, entrepreneurial approach to helping businesses execute growth strategies and

expand commercial opportunities.

The Company has also granted stock options (“Options”) and restricted share units (“RSUs”) to certain

directors, officers and to a member of its advisory board. The Company granted an aggregate of 300,000

Options to a director and to a member of its advisory Board member at an exercise price of $0.15 expiring

two years from the date of grant. The Options vest immediately. In addition, the Company granted

1,200,000 RSUs to a director and officer of the Company. The RSUs vest immediately. The Options and

RSUs were granted in accordance with the Company’s omnibus equity incentive plan. All Options are

subject to the four (4) month exchange hold period. The grant of the Options and RSUs is subject to

acceptance by the Canadian Securities Exchange.
