ALTAIR ANNOUNCES THE SUDDEN PASSING OF CEO & CHAIRMAN JOHN HUGUET

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – FEBRUARY 6TH 2017: ALTAIR RESOURCES INC. (“Altair” or the

(Roy) Shipes) President regrets to announce the passing of Mr. John Huguet, Chairman and CEO of the

Company. Said Mr. Shipes” The sudden passing of Mr. Huguet has been a great shock to all t he Board

and it is difficult to inform shareholders of his passing. John jointed the Altair board just over a year ago

and was instrumental in assisting the Company through a restructuring and acquisition phase. I would

like to convey our sincerest and hea rtfelt condolences to John’s wife, children, family and friends. John

will be missed by all.”
