Auriginal Returns Wide Gold and Copper

Intersections at Roger Project in

Chibougamau, Expands Mineralization 125

meters at Depth

Highlights:

125.3 m grading 0.67 g/t Au, including 20.0 m at 1.94 g/t Au, returned in hole AUR-26-07, the

widest intercept of the program to date, extending the Roger zone by at least 125 metres at depth

Near-surface copper-gold confirmed: 34.5 m of 0.69 g/t Au and 0.14% Cu from just 70.5 m

downhole in AUR-26-06

High-grade gold at depth: 50.4 g/t Au over 0.5 m at 572.7 m and 9.1 g/t Au over 2.5 m at 596.0 m

in AUR-26-06 and 12.2 g/t Au over 1.1 m in AUR-26-05, demonstrating the high-grade endowment

persists throughout the system

Phase 1 drilling complete: 10 holes totaling 7,325 m have expanded the Roger mineralized

footprint approximately 700 m southwest, 400 m northeast, and more than 100 m at depth, growth

that will be captured in the revised Mineral Resource Estimate now underway

The Roger is characterized as wide anomalous copper- and gold-bearing sulphide intervals over

hole lengths of 200-250 m in all holes, commencing near surface.

Phase 2 drilling is now on the fourth hole of a 12-hole, 6,400 m drill program

Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - September 1, 2026) -

Auriginal Mining Corp. (TSXV:

AUME)

("

Auriginal

" or the "

Company

") is pleased to report that encouraging results continue to be

returned from Phase 1 Roger diamond drilling. The new results, in combination with our Phase 2

definition drilling, will supplement an expanded Mineral Resource for the historical Roger Zone being

undertaken.

The new assays continue to demonstrate the two features that define Roger's investment case,

exceptional width and consistent grade near surface, punctuated by high-grade gold. Hole AUR-26-07

returned the standout intercept of the program to date, 125.3 m grading 0.67 g/t Au from 346.0 m,

including 20.0 m at 1.94 g/t Au, this single intersection extends the Roger zone by at least 125 metres at

depth.

Higher in the system, AUR-26-06 cut 34.5 m of 0.69 g/t Au and 0.14% Cu beginning just 70.5 m

downhole, including 6.0 m at 1.85 g/t Au and 0.34% Cu, confirming that meaningful copper-gold

mineralization starts near surface. AUR-26-05 added 23.5 m of 1.12 g/t Au, including a high-grade

interval of 12.2 g/t Au over 1.1 m, while late intercepts of 50.4 g/t Au over 0.5 m at 572.7 m and 9.1 g/t Au

over 2.5 m at 596.0 m

depth in AUR-26-06 demonstrates that the high-grade gold endowment persists

well below the historical resource.

Each hole reported intersected mineralization over broad intervals, the system remains open in all

directions, and each of these intercepts falls above the 0.2 g/t Au cut-off being applied to the revised

Mineral Resource Estimate, meaning this drilling is not just extending the geology, it is directly adding to

the resource base currently being calculated.

"Drilling continues to support our view of a significantly expanded porphyry Cu-Au resource at Roger

below and along strike from historical drilling on the property and has confirmed the presence of an

overlying gold-rich VMS horizon," said Peter Cashin, Auriginal Mining Corp's CEO. "We are seeing

strong mineralization in all holes, which remains open below and to the southwest and northeast of the

previous limits of Roger zone. Phase 2 drilling is well underway and is showing some of the strongest

sulphide mineralization observed to date."

Phase 1 Drilling Expands Roger Mineralized Footprint

Auriginal's Phase 1 drilling program was designed to test extensions of the historical Roger copper-gold

mineralization and further evaluate the Company's geological interpretation of the broader mineralized

system. Drilling to date has extended the known porphyry-style mineralization approximately 700 metres

southwest and 400 metres northeast of the historical drilling limits, while also extending the depth limits

of mineralization by more than 100 metres. The Roger mineralized system remains open in all directions.

A total of ten drillholes for 7,325 m were completed in this Phase of the Roger program.

Assays for the holes AUR-26-05 to -07 are herein reported (

Roger: At the Centre of a Major Mining Resurgence*

Auriginal Mining's Roger Project is surrounded by a growing concentration of large, advanced mineral

resources in the Chibougamau-Chapais district (

see

Figure 1). The historic mining camp has produced

more than 6.5 Moz of gold and 1.6 billion lbs of copper and is attracting renewed investment from major

international mining companies.

Nearby projects include:

Nelligan Mining Complex - IAMGOLD: 4.3 Moz Indicated + 7.5 Moz Inferred gold

Croteau East Project - IAMGOLD: 640,000 oz. Inferred gold

Chibougamau Project - Central Asia Metals: 14.9 Mt @ 3.3% Cu

Eq

Windfall - Gold Fields: 7.4 Moz gold resources, including 4.1 Moz M&I

Opemiska - XXIX Metals Corp.: 2.4 billion lbs. @ 0.74 % Cu

This concentration of substantial gold and copper resources underscores the scale and strategic

importance of the mineral district surrounding Roger, providing Auriginal with exposure to a rapidly re-

emerging Québec mining camp.

$2.0 Million Phase 2 Definition Drill Program Underway

Following the expansion demonstrated during Phase 1, Auriginal has allocated an additional $2.0 million

to Phase 2 definition drilling at Roger. The program is designed to provide sufficient drill density across

the newly identified extensions of the Roger mineralized system to support their potential inclusion in a

future MRE. Based on PLR's initial review, drilling at approximately 125-metre spacing has been

recommended across portions of the newly defined mineralized extensions to support evaluation for

potential classification within an Inferred Mineral Resource.

The Company expects the broader resource work incorporating the expanded drilling footprint to follow

the October update, with additional resource work tentatively targeted for later in 2026 or early 2027. All

currently planned Phase 2 drilling and associated technical work is fully funded.

The Phase 2 drilling is currently of the fourth hole of a twelve-hole, 6,250 m program (

see

Figure 2). The

drilling is planned to intersect the Roger porphyry zone above the Phase 1 drilling at the 375 m and 150

m vertical level (

see

Figure 3

)

. Some of the strongest pyrite-chalcopyrite mineralization was intersected

(

see

Plates 1 & 2, Hole AUR-26-12 from 170.0 to 224.0 m) . This new drill core will be sent to our lab for

analysis soon.
