Amerigo Announces Results of AGM

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – May 8, 2018- Amerigo Resources Ltd. (TSX: ARG,

"Amerigo" or the "Company") announces the results of voting at its 2018 Annual General

Meeting of Shareholders (“AGM”) held on May 7, 2018 in Vancouver British Columbia.

A total of 97,166,852 common shares were voted at the meeting, representing 54.83% of the

votes attached to all outstanding common shares of the Company. Shareholders voted in

favour of all items of business before the m eeting, including the election of all director nominees

as follows:

In addition, the ordinary resolution re-appr oving the Company's stock option plan and all

unallocated options thereunder, was carried with 89.82% of the votes cast in favour of such

resolution. In addition, the ordinary resolution amending and reconfirming the Company's

shareholder rights plan, was carried with 90.37% of the votes cast in favour of such resolution.
