ANGKOR RESOURCES’ CAMBODIAN SUBSIDIARY ADDS
POTENTIAL BASIN TO BLOCK VIII SEISMIC PROGRAM
GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA (June 11, 2025): ANGKOR RESOURCES CORP. (TSXV: ANK) (“ANGKOR”
OR “THE COMPANY”) announces an extension target for seismic and oil on the northeast side of
Block VIII.
Angkor’s energy subsidiary, EnerCam Resources Co. Ltd. (Cambodia) (“EnerCam”) has reviewed
proposed seismic access roads on several scouting trips while concurrently evaluating all available
data. The team has confirmed the Kampot North basin on the eastern side of the Bokor Mountains
warrants adjustment of the seismic to include several lines across the basin as part of the pending
350-line kilometer 2D seismic program.
The basin is roughly 300 square kilometers and appears to be of an age and depth consistent with
adjacent basins which have well documented hydrocarbon seeps. It is thought to be filled with both
lacustrine and terrestrial floodplain sediments and has a classic rift profile with one side deeper
than the other (like a trap door). This also confirms the tectonic environment that the geoscientists
expect to find in the rest of Block 8, which is a combination of extension with later compression
along a strike slip transverse fault.
The team is encouraged to adjust the 2D seismic program to include the Kampot North basin to
maximize the data coming from potential oil-bearing basins across the license. Adjustments are
easily made and do not detract from the efficiency of the seismic program. By reducing some areas
in the west that are not easily accessible and could not be reached this time of year and replacing
them with lines in the east is both logical and an effective way to increase the benefits from seismic.

The seismic lines will cross five basins identified on Block VIII including South Cardammom, Central Bokor,
South Bokor, Phu Quac, and North Kampot. Seismic has been approved and customs import of equipment
is in place. Currently, the team awaits the customs export on the Thai side of the border for the equipment
to come into Cambodia.
