At the request of IIROC, Alturas Minerals Corp. wishes to confirm that the Company’s management is
unaware of any material change in the Company’s operations that would account for the recent increase in
market activity.
Alturas Minerals Corp. is a Canadian corporation, and is the indirect parent of the Peruvian company, Alturas
Minerals S.A. (“Alturas Peru”) and of the Chilean company, Alturas Chile Limitada (“Alturas Chile”). The
current principal asset of Alturas is its Utupara mineral exploration projects located in Peru. The Company
has in previous years, disposed of its Pampa Colorada and San Antonio project s to arms’ length parties
subject to certain conditions, and not renewed its exploration license for Callejones and Ccaccapaqui. During
fiscal 2014 the Company discontinued all operations in its properties in Chile including La Corina, Marilin and
Quispe. During F2016 Alturas granted an option for its Sombrero property to Auryn Resources Inc. and has
signed a Letter of Intent with Compania Minera Milpo S.A.A.(“”Milpo”) for Milpo to earn up to an 80% interest
on its Huajoto property, with the definitive agreement signed on January 2017.
