Appointment of Company Secretary

Austral Gold Limited (the “Company” or “Austral”) (ASX: AGD; TSX -V: AGLD) wishes to advise

that David Hwang has been appointed as Company Secretary of the Company, replacing Andrew

Bursill, effective immediately. The Board wishes to thank Mr Bursill for his services to the Company.

David leads the company secretarial practice at Automic Group as Chief Compliance Officer. David

is an experienced corporate lawyer specialising in listings on ASX, equity capital markets and

providing advice on corporate governance and compliance issues.

For the purpose of ASX Listing Rule 12.6, t he Company wishes to confirm that Mr Hwang is the

primary person responsible for communications between the Company and ASX, effective

immediately.
