WAIVER OF PROXY DEADLINE FOR ANNUAL MEETING

Toronto (April 26 , 2023) – Agnico Eagle Mines Limited (NYSE: AEM, TSX: AEM)

("Agnico Eagle" ) announced today that it has waived the proxy deposit deadline in

connection with its upcoming annual and special meeting of shareholders, which will be

held on Friday, April 28, 2023 (the "Meeting").

As a result of the waiver, proxies may now be deposited with Computershare Trust

Company of Canada at any time prior to the Meeting.
