Lynx Pipe Begins Commercial Production

Archon Minerals Limited (“Archon” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Lynx Pipe in
the Buffer Zone of the Ekati Diamond Mine officially began commercial production1 as of April 1, 2017.
Lynx is the Company’s first kimberlite pipe to reach c ommercial production. Located in the
southeastern portion of the Ekati property, about 30km from the Ekati main site facilities and
approximately 3km to the southwest of the Misery pipe, the Lynx pipe is an open -pit mine with proven
and probable reserves o f approximately 1 million tonnes at 0.8 carats/tonne . Further details about the

1. Commercial production is deemed to be achieved when an asset is expected to produce
diamondiferous ore for 90 days at a rate of not less than 60% of the designed mine production
capacity (measured in tonnes of diamondiferous ore per day) on average for that 90-day period.
