Incident at Ekati Mine

June 23, 2016 – Vancouver, British Columbia TSX.V: ACS

Archon Minerals Limited (“Archon” or the “Company”) reports that that at approximately 7:00 am today, a fire broke out during a planned outage at the Ekati mine’s processing plant. Dominion Diamond Ekati Corporation, the Company’s joint venture partner and operator of the mine, reports that their Incident Management Team was activated to respond to the situation, the Emergency Response Team was called to the scene and the fire has been contained. All personnel were evacuated from the processing plant and have been accounted for. At this time, no injuries have been reported.
