ARCHON ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

Archon Minerals Limited (“Archon” or the “Company”) has appointed Robert Blusson as a director

of the Company. Mr. Blusson is a Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive experience in the

mining sector. He is currently Director of Finance with Sabina Gold and Silver Corp. Previously, he spent

eight years with Capstone Mining Corp. where he was most recently Vice President of Finance. Robert has

also worked with other mining producers with global operations, including Nevsun Resources Ltd. and

Lundin Mining Corporation.
