Angel Gold Corp.: Name Change Approved

Vancouver, British Columbia – Angel Gold Corp. (the “Company”) (TSX-V:ANG) is pleased to report that the name change from Caerus Resource Corporation to Angel Gold Corp. announced on September 25, 2012 has received TSX Venture Exchange approval. The TSX Venture Exchange approval was received on October 3, 2012. Angel Gold Corp. will be trading under the new symbol TSX-V:ANG. The new web site is www.angelgoldcorp.com .

The name change, the appointment of Stella Frias to President and Chief Executive Officer and the appointment of Tom Wharton as Director reflects the beginning of the Company’s transition to a drilling stage gold exploration company. Stella Frias, a native of Colombia, has worked on the ground in the Latin American mining industry for more than 20 years. Ms. Frias has worked for Gold Reserve de Venezuela ( a subsidiary of Gold Reserve Inc. ), Greystar Resources, Terramundo Drilling, Minera Providencia ( a Colombian subsidiary of Minera Andes ), and Revemin II CA (Venezuelan subsidiary of Crystallex International). Ms. Frias is a recognized leader in corporate social responsibility and sustainable business.

Ms. Frias has held the position of Administration and Community Relations Manager for Ventana Gold Corporation where she was a key member of the management team which developed Ventana Gold from an exploration company to a company having successfully defined a world class gold deposit at La Bodega, Colombia. The result was a $1.4 billion market buyout by AUX Canada Acquisition Inc. for Ventana’s gold assets in Colombia.

The Company has two exploration stage gold projects in Colombia, the Buritica West Gold Project strategically located next to the Continental Gold Buritica Project and the El Cafetal Gold Project which is adjacent to the Yarumalito Project currently under evaluation by Colombia Mines Corporation and TECK Corporation. Exploration work is ongoing at the two exploration stage gold projects. Recently the Secretary of Mines of the Government of Antioquia has determined that an area of 2014 hectares of the 2063 hectares initially solicited (known as El Pino West) by the Company’s wholly owned Colombian subsidiary, Minera Ophir, has been found to be free of conflict with existing concessions and pre-existing solicitudes. The acceptance by Minera Ophir of the boundaries as determined by the legal study is the first step in perfecting a mineral concession contract over this area. The El Pino West property is adjacent to the Gramalote Project which is a joint venture of B2Gold and Anglogold Ashanti.
