GEONOVUS ANNOUNCES GRANT OF STOCK OPTIONS

February 1, 2013, VANCOUVER, B.C. – GEONOVUS MINERALS CORP. (TSX-V:GNM) (the “Company”) announces that a total of 100,000 stock options (the “Options”) have been granted to certain directors and an officer of the Company at an exercise price of $0.10 per share for a period of five years from the date of grant.

The Options have been granted in accordance with the Company’s stock option plan.

GeoNovus Minerals Corp. is a junior exploration company actively seeking mineral opportunities for the benefit of all of its stakeholders, with three active porphyry copper exploration projects in Arizona.
