MONGOOSE MINING APPOINTS NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Toronto, May 3 , 2022 - Mongoose Mining Ltd (the “Company” or “Mongoose”) (CSE: MNG) is pleased to

announce that it has appointed Richard Pinkerton as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Richard Pinkerton holds Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations and

has over twenty-five years experience working with public companies in progressively senior financial roles.

Mr. Pinkerton also serves as CFO of Canadian Manganese Company Inc., the Company’s largest shareholder.

The Company would like to thank Steve Cummings for his recent service as CFO, in particular for his

contribution towards the successful completi on of the business combination between the Company and

Spark Minerals Inc. Mr. Cummings will continue to serve as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
