Vancouver, B.C., April 2 7, 2020 – Norsemont Mining Inc. (CSE: NOM, OTC: NRRSF, FWB: LXZ1 )

(“Norsemont” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Charles Ross to its Board

of Directors.

Mr. Ross has more than 25 years’ experience in the international resource sector, much of which is

focused on senior project and financial management. He has served as a director, president, and chief

financial officer of numerous public resource companies and has extensive experience in corporate

finance and public company administration.

Mr. Ross replaces Mr. Rana Vig who has resigned. The Company wishes to thank Mr. Vig for his dedication
