Vancouver, British Columbia – Pacific Topaz Resources Ltd. (TSXV – PPZ) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Michael Kennedy, David Whelan and Quentin Adrian have been appointed to the Company's board of directors. Michael Kennedy has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Gordon Keep as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary. Raymond Roland, James Boyce, John Brydle and Irvin Ridd have resigned from the board. The Company would like to thank them for their services.

The Company has also entered into a mandate agreement with Endeavour Financial Ltd. to assist with acquisitions in the resource sector.

The Company has returned the Nugget Queen property to the vendor and sold the rights to its Yukon Placer property.

In connection with the foregoing appointments, an aggregate of 2,850,000 incentive stock options have been granted to directors, officers, consultants and charities at a price of $0.18 per share, exercisable for a period of 10 years, subject to TSXV approval.
