Pacific North West Capital Corp. Provides Update
December 29, 2014 Vancouver, BC; Pacific North West Capital Corp. (“PFN” and the “Company”) (TSX.V: PFN; Frankfurt: P7J.F; OTC Pink: PAWEF) announces the resignation of Dr. William Stone as President & COO of the Company effective as of December 31, 2014. His resignation is part of the overall plan to transition the Company to preserve value in anticipation of improved market conditions. Dr. Stone has agreed to be available to the Company on a consulting basis to ensure continuity and technical compliance. With his strong PGM background, he will focus his time with PFN on: 1) advancing the River Valley PGM Project in order to attract a strategic partner; 2) ensuring compliance with NI43‐101 regulations for public disclosure, and 3) evaluating other precious and base metal properties and projects for acquisition.
Since joining the Company in September 2011, Dr. Stone has been instrumental in leading the technical development of PFN’s River Valley PGM Project under very difficult market conditions for junior exploration companies. Under his leadership, an NI43‐101 compliant mineral resource estimate tripled the size of the PGM resource, a comprehensive metallurgical study produced PGM concentrate at marketable grades, integrated geological studies advanced the PGM mineralization and exploration models for the deposit, and a workable community relations program was developed.
The Board wishes to express its sincere thanks to Dr. Stone for his efforts and service to the Company.
