Appointment of Richard Silas as President

October 11, 2016 - Vancouver, B.C. – Consolidated Westview Resource Corp. (TSXV:CWS.H) (“Westview” or the “Company”) announces that it has appointed Richard Silas as President ,CEO and chairman of the board.

Mr. Silas is currently director and corporate secretary of the Company and also a director and corporate secretary of Gold Standard Ventures Corp., a junior advanced gold exploration company listed on the TSX Venture and NYSE MKT.

Jonathan Awde will be stepping down as president, CEO, and director of the Company effective immediately.
