October 21, 2016 – Vancouver, B.C. – Consolidated Westview Resource Corp. (TSXV:CWS.H) (“Westview” or the “Company”) announces that it has appointed Jacques Wortman as Director, President and CEO.
| Mr. Wortman is a private businessman and Director of | Wortman Mining Consulting Services (WMCS), which |
| focuses on the identification, assessment and valuation of high quality mining projects. Mr. Wortman has worked in | |
| a corporate development consulting capacity for Elgin Mining Inc and Dynasty Metals & Mining Inc and prior to | |
| that was Vice-President, Corporate Development of Aura Minerals Inc. Mr. Wortman was in mining equity research | |
| for 13 years, including 9 years as a mining analyst at GMP Securities. Mr. Wortman holds a Bachelor of Science | |
| (Geology) degree from Mount Allison University and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree from | |
| Saint Mary’s University. |
Richard Silas has stepped down as President and CEO of the Company but will remain as Corporate Secretary and a Director.
