TriStar Changes Year End

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--January 17, 2012--TriStar Gold Inc. (the Company) is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of the Company has determined to change the fiscal year end of TriStar from January 31 to December 31, effective December 31, 2011. In addition the presentation currency set out in the Company’s financial statements will be changed to US Dollars rather than Canadian Dollars
