Orestone Refiles 2010 Quarterly Statements
Vancouver, British Columbia, Orestone Mining Corp. (“Orestone” or the “Company”) announces that it has today refiled its 2010 unaudited interim consolidated financial statements, associated MD&A, and CEO and CFO certificates for the periods ended July 31, 2010 and October 31, 2010.
Orestone and Intuitive Exploration Inc. completed a plan of arrangement in June, 2010. The plan of arrangement was a reverse takeover for accounting purposes. Subsequent to the plan of arrangement, Orestone changed its year-end from March 31 to January 31. The plan of arrangement and change of year-end impacted the Company’s financial disclosure.
Following discussions with the British Columbia Securities Commission, the following revisions have been made to the previously filed documents:
1. The July 31, 2010 interim financial statements now include:
(a) A Balance Sheet for the 6-month period ended July 31, 2010 (as opposed to figures for the 4-month period ended July 31, 2010).
(b) Income Statements and Statements of Cash Flows for the 3-months and 6-months ended July 31, 2010 (as opposed to the 4-months ended July 31, 2010) with appropriate comparatives.
2. The October 31, 2010 interim financial statements now include:
(a) A Balance Sheet for the 9-month period ended October 31, 2010 (as opposed to figures for the 7-month period ended October 31, 2010).
(b) Income Statements and Statements of Cash Flows for the 3-months and 9-months ended October 31, 2010 (as opposed to the 3-months and 7-months ended October 31, 2010) with appropriate comparatives.
