KOLA ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTORS
Vancouver, Canada – Kola Mining Corp. (“Kola” or the “Company”) (TSXV:KM) Mr. Nick DeMare, Director, is pleased to announce that Messrs David Henstridge and Harvey Lim have been appointed as directors of the Company effective immediately.
Mr. Henstridge has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry including 25 years in managing public-listed companies as well as serving as a qualified person pursuant to NI 43-101. Mr. Henstridge holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Adelaide in Australia and professional designations from each of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and the Geological Society of Australia. Mr. Henstridge is an officer and/or director of other public-listed mineral exploration companies.
Mr. Lim holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and is a member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. Mr. Lim has previously worked for Coopers & Lybrand (PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) and Ingot Management Ltd. Since 1991, Mr. Lim has held the position of controller for Chase Management Ltd., a private company which provides accounting and management services to companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange or The Toronto Stock Exchange and its predecessors. Mr. Lim also serves as officer and/or director of other public-listed companies.
The appointment of the new directors remains subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance of filings.
The Company also announces the appointment of Mr. DeMare as the Company’s interim President and Chief Executive Officer.
