ALTAIR ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – JUNE 1, 2016: ALTAIR GOLD INC. (“Altair” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: AVX; Germany FRA: 90A; ISIN: CA0213702008; WKN: WKN A14WVP) Mr. John Huguet, Chairman of the Board, announces a name change of the Company to “Altair Resources Inc.”, as approved by the board of directors, in accordance with the Articles of the Company, and by the TSX Venture Exchange. Effective June 3, 2016, the Company’s shares will trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new name “Altair Resources Inc.”, with the trading symbol “AVX” remaining the same.
