SouthGobi Resources announces resignation of André Deepwell as independent non-executive director

HONG KONG – SouthGobi Resources Ltd. (TSX: SGQ, HK: 1878) (“SouthGobi” or the “Company”) today announces that Mr. André Deepwell, to pursue other interests, resigned as an independent nonexecutive director, chairman of the Audit Committee, and member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance committee and Compensation and Benefits committee of the Company effective August 31, 2015.

Mr. Lancaster, Interim Chair, said, “Since joining in 2003, André has made outstanding contributions to the Company with his professional expertise and extensive experience.
