FOLLOWING DEATH OF COMPANY PRESIDENT, W.F. CHRISTENSEN, CARL JONSSON APPOINTED PRESIDENT AND CEO

Dolly Varden Resources Inc. (“Company”) wishes to acknowledge, with great sadness, the death of its President, W.F. (“Fred”) Christensen after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mr. Christensen has acted as the Company’s President, Chief Executive Officer and promoter for in excess of two decades.

Pending the appointment of a new Director who will also accept appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer, Carl Jonsson has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Jonsson is a Director of the Company and its Corporate Secretary - and acts as its Solicitor.
