Compass Gold Announces Resignation of Director

Vancouver, B.C., April 13, 2010 – Compass Gold Corporation (TSXV: CVB) (the “Company”) announces that further to the Company’s news release of April 12, 2010 announcing the Company’s board of directors, Lara Iacusso resigned from the board of directors as of April 12, 2010 and will continue to act as Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

The Company’s board of directors is now comprised of Marshall Auerback, James Henderson, Madani Diallo and Malcolm Carson.

The Company’s management consists of: Marshall Auerback, President and Chief Executive Officer; James Henderson, Chairman; Lara Iacusso, Chief Financial Officer; and Darren Devine, Corporate Secretary.
