ARCTIC HUNTER ANNOUNCES DEATH OF DIRECTOR, DAVID B. FINN

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - Arctic Hunter Energy Inc. (TSX-V: AHU) (the “Company”) announces that the Company has been informed of the death of director David B. Finn, who passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2013. Mr. Finn served as a director of the Company since April, 2011.

Tim Coupland, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated, “We are saddened to announce the passing of David Finn. He was a valued colleague and good friend to all those who worked with him at Arctic Hunter and in the oil and gas industry in British Columbia and Alberta. David’s wealth of experience in the oil and gas industry and his sound judgment were tremendous assets to the Company. David will be greatly missed and we would like to offer our deepest condolences to his close friends and family.”
