Uranium Standard Appoints Peter Born, P.Geo, and Accepts the Resignation of Brian Butterworth, P.Geo from the Board of Directors
Vancouver, British Columbia March 31, 2015 – Uranium Standard Resources Ltd. (USR:TSX.V; USTDF: OTCQB) (“Uranium Standard” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the acceptance of Peter Born, P. Geo, as director and qualified person to the Board of Directors. Dr. Born is a highly respected senior geologist with over 30 years’ experience exploring and evaluating mining properties for senior and junior Canadian and US resource Companies. He holds a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences with expertise in Precambrian Sedimentary Geology, Basin Analysis, Sedimentology, Stratigraphy and Sedimentary Ore deposits. His experience includes several years of uranium exploration in the Athabasca Basin and the Thelon Uranium Basin of the Northwest Territories.
The Company would also like to accept the resignation of Brian Butterworth, P.Geo. from the Board of Directors. The Company would like to thank Mr. Butterworth for all his contributions and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors. The Board of Directors is now comprised of Arni Johannson, Michael Williams, Simon Irish and Peter Born.
