ROCHESTER FURTHER CLARIFIES TECHNICAL DISCLOSURE
Vancouver, British Columbia – July 3, 2015: - Rochester Resources Ltd. (TSXV: RCT and Frankfurt: R5I) (the “Company”). Further to the Company’s news release of June 23, 2015 and as a result of additional discussions with the British Columbia Securities Commission (the “BCSC”), the Company is issuing this news release to further clarify certain aspects of its technical disclosure.
The BCSC’s review identified an issue with the Company’s technical disclosure in our February 28th 2015 Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) in regards to the disclosure of a mineral resource estimate for the Lluvia de Oro vein at the San Eduardo tunnel area of the San Francisco Project. The San Francisco project is located approximately 100 kilometers west of the Mina Real processing plant.
The Company’s MD&A provided an estimate of mineralized material at the Lluvia de Oro vein at the San Eduardo Tunnel area of the San Francisco Project that is not supported by a technical report. The Company retracts the disclosure regarding the mineralized material at the Lluvia de Oro vein. The disclosure on mineralized material was from an internal report and was not intended to be disclosed as there has been insufficient work done Lluvia de Oro vein at the San Eduardo to provide any NI 43-101 resource estimates. The Company erred in including this disclosure in the MD&A. The public is advised to not rely on this disclosure.
Technical material in this news release has been reviewed by Michael Magrum , Peng, a director of the Company and a qualified person as defined in National Instrument 43-101.
