EDISON COBALT ADDS TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND ANNOUNCES 2020 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING DATE

Vancouver, British Columbia – September 23, 2020 – Edison Cobalt Corp. (“EDDY” or the "Company")

(TSX-V: EDDY) is pleased to announce the addition of Eric Falardeau to its board of directors. Mr. Falardeau is a regional sales manager for a global industrial supply company based out of Val-d’O Quebec, Canada, and has extensive experience supplying industrial materials for mining and various other manufacturing industries. He also sits on the board of directors and is a member of the audit committee of another mineral exploration firm listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (the “Exchange”).

The Company is pleased to welcome Mr. Falardeau to its board as an independent director and as a member of its Audit Committee. Mr. Falardeau’s appointment remains subject to acceptance by the Exchange.

The Company also announces that the 2020 Annual General and Special Meeting of the shareholders of EDDY (the “AGM”) will be held on November 27, 2020. The record date for the shareholders entitled to receive notice of and to vote at the AGM has been set as at the close of business on October 16, 2020.

The Company’s last AGM was held May 2, 2019. Under TSX Venture Exchange Policy 3.2, section 4.1 the Company is required to hold its AGM within 15 months of its last AGM. As the Company is currently not in compliance with this policy, the Company is on notice from the Exchange that it must hold its AGM prior to December 31, 2020.
