MEDELLIN, Colombia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--February 27, 2025--Mineros S.A. (TSX:MSA,
MINEROS:CB) (“Mineros” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of
David Londoño as the Company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”),
effective April 8, 2025. David Londoño assumes the duties and responsibilities of the position of
President and CEO of Mineros, replacing Andrés Restrepo Isaza, who headed the organization
for the past 10 years.
We express our most sincere gratitude for Andrés Restrepo’s commitment, service and
leadership to the Company during the past ten years, in which time he made a fundamental
contribution to the development and evolution of Mineros.
In his new role, David Londoño will continue to contribute to the sustainable growth of Mineros
S.A. His leadership, experience and vision will be key in achieving the Company's strategic
objectives, driving new projects, and continuing to build on the Company's success.
David Londoño has more than 35 years of experience in the mining sector. David has held
technical, operational and management positions in international companies such as
OceanaGold, Kirkland Lake Gold, AngloGold Ashanti and Barrick Gold. He holds a Bachelor of
Science, Mine Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, a Master of Science in
Earth and Systems Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from Regis
University.
