Vancouver, British Columbia, October 7th, 2014 – New Destiny Mining Corp. (TSX-V: NED) (the “Company” or “New Destiny) is pleased to announce the appointment Mr. Greg Olesen as President & Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Robert Birmingham has resigned as President & CEO but will remain on as a Director.
Mr. Olesen has over 33 years of experience in Senior Management roles within a wide array of sectors, including Oil & Gas and Chemical manufacturing both on the national and international stage. Mr. Olesen had recently worked with Nexen Oil Sands Project Development and Execution Department located at the Fort McMurray Long Lake project, after serving 22 years with Canadian Nexen, Yemen, and the Chemical Division within Nexen.
Mr. Olesen brings extensive operational experience in Project Management, Public Relations, and Asset Protection, along with overall business development skills. Mr. Olesen has an excellent track record in successfully initiating, managing and concluding projects to the upmost standard.
