BOWMORE ANNUAL MEETING RESULTS ELECTION OF NEW DIRECTOR
Montréal, Québec – December 24, 2010 – BOWMORE Exploration Ltd. (BOW: TSX-V, “Bowmore”) (Montréal, Québec) is pleased to announce that at the annual meeting of the Company held on December 20, 2010, Mr. Eduardo Perlicz was appointed as a director of the Company. Mr. Perlicz has over 25 years experience in investment banking, Central Bank Trading and project financing. Mr. Perlicz has held Vice President positions with Barclays Bank PLC, Goldman Sachs, and Mase Westpac of New York, where he was in charge of precious metal trading for South America. Presently, he is an independent advisor and financial consultant with extensive contacts in Latin America. Mr. Richard Grass has stepped down as a director. The Company would like to thank Mr. Grass for his contribution over the last couple years.
Messrs. Paul Dumas, Robert Wares, Sean Roosen and Claude Charron were re-elected as directors of the Company.
At the annual meeting, the shareholders also approved the Company’s existing stock option plan which, among other things, provides that the board of directors may grant options up to ten percent (10%) of the total number of common shares issued and outstanding at the date of the stock option grant.
