Playfair Mining Announces Increase in Private Placement

Playfair Mining is pleased to announce an increase in the size of its previously announced nonbrokered private placement of 10 million shares at $0.05 per share for gross proceeds of $500,000.

Due to oversubscribed investor interest, the private placement will now consist of 12 million common shares at $0.05 per share for gross proceeds of $600,000.

The proceeds will be used for exploration on the RKV project in South Central Norway and for general working capital purposes.

Completion of the private placement is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange. All securities issued pursuant to the private placement will be subject to resale restrictions under applicable securities legislation and the rules of the TSX Venture Exchange.
