ROCHESTER CLARIFIES TECHNICAL DISCLOSURE

Vancouver, British Columbia – June 23, 2015: As a result of a review by the British Columbia Securities Commission (the “BCSC”), Rochester Resources Ltd. (TSXV: RCT and Frankfurt: R5I) (the “Company”) is issuing the following news release to clarify certain aspects of its technical disclosure.

The BCSC’s review identified an issue with the Company’s technical disclosure in regards to the disclosure of a mineral resource estimate for the San Francisco Project in our Management Discussion and Analysis (“MD&A”) for the nine months ended February 28, 2015, with an effective date of April 29, 2015.

The Company’s MD&A provided an estimate of mineralized material at the San Eduardo Tunnel area at the San Francisco Project that is not supported by a technical report. The public is advised to not rely on this disclosure until the estimates are independently verified and supported with a technical report.
