Vancouver, BC – Crystal Lake Mining Corporation (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. John Meekison CPA, CMA, P. Log, CIM, BA, to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Meekison holds a BA from University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Investment Manager and Professional Logistician. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Sojourn Ventures Inc., and as the Chief Financial Officer of Segra International Corp.
Mr. Meekison was a co-founder of iCo Therapeutics Inc. and served as its Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary since April 2005 until August 20, 2016. Mr. Meekison has also served as the Director/Chief Financial Officer of various other public companies over the last 15 years.
Mr. Meekison is a veteran investment banker who previously specialized in life sciences at Dlouhy Merchant Capital (now Cantor Fitzgerald), Haywood Securities and institutional sales at Pacific International Securities Inc. As a financier, Mr. Meekison has raised equity capital for various biotechnology and technology companies both in Canada and the United States. The Board welcomes the addition of Mr. Meekison varied and extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting, business development, mining and logistics.
Mr. Robert Michor has resigned as a director but will be retained in the capacity of Corporate Secretary to the company.
