ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Vancouver, British Columbia, September 13, 2016. Portofino Resources Inc. (the “Company”) wishes to announce the appointment of Ken Cawkell as a director of the Company.

Mr. Cawkell is member of the Alberta and British Columbia Bar Associations and has over 25 years of experience in both public and private venture capital markets. Mr. Cawkell co-founded Cawkell Brodie Glaister LLP Business Lawyers in 1987, where he acts as a managing partner and has been extensively involved in all aspects of corporate structuring, finance and securities law. Mr. Cawkell is an investor and founder of a number of private companies where he has held executive management positions, and currently sits on the board of a number of private and public companies. Mr. Cawkell is a member of the Securities Law Advisory Committee to the BC Securities Commission.

Grant Robert Hall has resigned as a director of the Company. The Company would like to thank Mr. Hall for his time and service on the Board of Directors.
