EASTPLATS ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT

OF NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

July 27, 2016, Vancouver, British Columbia – Eastern Platinum Limited’s (“Eastplats” or the “Company”) board of directors is pleased to announce that it has appointed, effective immediately, Ms. Diana Hu as the Company’s full-time Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Hu has over 20 years’ experience in the global mining and metals industry.

Mr. Dorin, Eastplats’ Chairman stated, “We are pleased to have Ms. Hu lead the Eastplats team. The Company is fortunate to have someone with Ms. Hu’s experience and network base at its helm at this exciting time for the Company.”

Mr. Dorin added, “We are thankful to Mr. Peter Clausi for his contributions as Interim Chief Executive Officer over the last several weeks and look forward to his continued contribution to the Company.”
